Last week the Reception and Year 1 classes from Queen’s College went on a visit to Bellver woods to see the Mounted Police. The children were very excited to see the horses and enjoyed learning many facts during their visit. The children then had a very well deserved picnic and play in the park before setting off on their 2 km trek back to school. On their way back the children visited a cave where they used their imagination to invent a story about a dragon living in the cave! It was lovely to see the children working together as a team and encouraging each other as they made their journey back to school. A fantastic day out for Reception and Year 1!
