Queen’s College has a long tradition of academic excellence. The school has offered the A Level programme since 1977 and will continue to deliver this international British programme.

*Mission Statement from the IB The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

Outstanding Results in Year 13

50% of the class attained or came close to attaining 4 A/A* grades¹

The results for Year 13 have been excellent, with 9 students winning the acclaimed Sisu Award (at least 4 A grades at A Level¹). 6 further students came very close, achieving 3 A grades and a B.

Our students will continue their studies at universities in a number of different countries: UK, Spain, Holland, USA, Italy and Sweden and particular mention should be made of some prestigious destinations, such as University College London and the University of Edinburgh which are among the Top 50 universities in the world.

Within this group, we congratulate 4 students who gained places at universities within the Top 10 worldwide in their field of study.
